Every traveler has a bucket list in the back of their mind - a well thought-out collection of places to go, people to see, and things to do while they’re still there and you’re still able. Setting foot in Antarctica is at the top of my bucket list.
When I ask my clients why they love to travel, many of them have similar goals, “I want to see the Eiffel Tower / Greece / The Amazon/…” As the conversation continues, I discover that what we share is a love of unique and memorable experiences.
We’ll swap stories about a wine they wish they could find from a vineyard they toured, a hot air balloon ride, a spectacular sunset, or some other daring adventure…. In other words, those experiences and memories that never fail to bring a smile to your face.
As you reminisce and wonder if you should go back to one of your favorites, or check something new off the list you remember that at the end of the day, a lot of the “things” we spend our money on don’t last, but memories are forever.

Expeditions for Everyone
Whatever your travel style, Antarctica offers something for everyone. Want to sail on a small, all-inclusive luxury ship with butler service? No problem.
Maybe you’re ready for something more hands-on. There’s plenty of opportunities to explore. Zodiac excursions to enjoy the incredible views. How about up-close whale watching as you float in a kayak amidst the ice?
If you really want to check something off your bucket list, how about an overnight camping trip on a glacier?
While you're here
As long as you’ve traveled this far, you might want to add a few other things to your bucket list. Side trips to Argentina and Patagonia are a natural fit.
Iguazu Falls in Argentina boasts the largest waterfall system in the world and is often a bookend to a trip to Antarctica. Maybe you’d like to trek through the stunning raw beauty of Patagonia and catch a glimpse of the breathtaking Patagonia Ice Field or the Marble Caves carved by water.
You could pitch your tent at an Eco-Camp in Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park or spend a few days exploring the port town of Ushuaia and discover why Tierra del Fuego is known as the land of fire!
